Construction of EVE Music Hall, a concert and conference complex and one of Croatia’s most ambitious cultural and infrastructure projects, is in full swing in Čepin. Once completed, it will become a new hub for music, culture, business and social events—not only for Slavonia, but for the wider Southeast European region. The grand opening is planned for March 2027.
The project is being developed by MAŠTA d.o.o. from Osijek, while Tering is responsible for designing the HVAC systems and installations, as well as the gas installation. In addition to preparing the design documentation, Tering is also providing professional and design supervision during construction, ensuring that all technical systems are installed to the highest professional standards.
World-Class Architecture in the Heart of Slavonia
EVE Music Hall was designed by the world-renowned architectural practice BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, led by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, in collaboration with Croatian partner SIRRAH projekt and concert venue consultants Theatre Projects. The project is BIG’s first project to be realized in Croatia and one of the most significant cultural venues currently under construction in this part of Europe.
The architectural concept draws inspiration from the Slavonian landscape and the idea of a theatre curtain revealing a stage. The two halls are conceived as separate volumes connected by a spacious central foyer, creating a striking silhouette that rises from the plain. Stone façades made of Slavonian limestone and warm timber interiors symbolically combine local identity with outstanding contemporary architecture.

Halls Designed for an Outstanding Experience
At the heart of the complex will be a large concert hall with 1,021 seats and capacity for up to 2,800 standing guests, while the smaller conference hall will seat 308. Thanks to advanced variable-acoustics systems, the spaces will accommodate a wide range of events—from symphony concerts and theatre performances to major music productions, conferences and business gatherings.
The complex includes:
• a main concert hall,
• a conference hall,
• a spacious foyer for welcoming large numbers of visitors,
• front-of-house and back-of-house facilities serving the halls,
• dressing rooms for performers and staff,
• exhibition and hospitality facilities,
• rooftop event spaces,
• technical and ancillary spaces (plant rooms, storage areas, sprinkler stations, etc.).
With its scale, flexibility and advanced technology, EVE Music Hall will make it possible to host events that have not previously had a suitable venue in Slavonia.

Energy-Efficient and Sustainable Solutions
The HVAC concept is based on modern air-handling systems and a thermally activated building system for heating and cooling. Geothermal heat pumps are planned as the primary energy source, providing heating and cooling with high energy efficiency and a reduced environmental impact.
To meet peak loads during major events, the design includes additional water chillers and a containerized gas boiler plant, ensuring reliable system operation under all conditions.
A Project Reshaping the Region’s Cultural Landscape
EVE Music Hall is more than a new concert venue. It embodies a vision for a meeting place where art, business, tourism and the community come together. At a time when many regions are competing to attract new amenities and investment, Slavonia is gaining a venue that will draw leading Croatian and international artists, conferences, trade fairs and cultural events throughout the year.
The project’s special value lies in the collaboration between the investor, architects, designers, engineers and numerous specialists who are jointly creating a venue for generations to come. EVE Music Hall is gradually becoming a symbol of Slavonia’s new ambitions—a place that will connect people, create memories and open new chapters in the region’s cultural and business development.
Tering is proud to contribute its knowledge and experience to this exceptional project through the design and supervision of key HVAC systems, helping to create one of Croatia’s most important new venues for culture and the conference industry.
