As a company, we are always ready to adopt and learn new technologies. After an extensive period of testing, we brought all engineering disciplines together and introduced a complete BIM (Building Information Modelling) design concept, which we have used actively for many years.
BIM transforms the design process by using a range of software tools to create a single source of project information. It also helps reduce costs and improves collaboration.
By keeping all information in a single model, information exchange between project partners becomes more efficient. This makes the entire design and construction process more accurate and consistent, helping to avoid costly last-minute changes on site.
BIM is built around a 3D model of the building. In addition to the usual visual representation, the model contains a wealth of other information, including survey coordinates, quantities of materials and components, element properties (thermal conductivity, mass, strength and more), element details, prices and all other data required to prepare design documentation and construct the building. Overall, the BIM approach can save time and help reduce waste and on-site work.
Our primary design software is Autodesk Revit, although we are not limited to Revit. We also use Navisworks for coordination and a wide range of interconnected BIM applications, including Autodesk Showcase, Autodesk Simulation CFD and others.
