Construction of Hotel Pical 5* within Pical Resort in Poreč—one of Croatia’s largest and most ambitious tourism projects—has been completed. Opening in March 2026, this luxury resort raises the standard of the Adriatic tourism offer by combining premium accommodation, gastronomy, wellness, and facilities for active and family holidays.
Investment and Amenities
The approximately €200 million project encompasses a wide range of amenities: hotel rooms and suites, seafront villas, several themed pools and beaches, a wellness and spa centre, seven restaurants and nine bars, and a conference centre with capacity for up to 1,200 participants.
The resort is designed as a year-round destination combining luxury and functionality—from family zones with extensive entertainment programmes to exclusive amenities for guests seeking privacy and premium service. Particular emphasis has been placed on regionally inspired gastronomy and the wellness offer, including Croatia’s first ESPA spa.

Guests can also enjoy numerous sports and recreational facilities, including cycling routes connected to the Parenzana trail, a tennis centre, indoor and outdoor pools, and a variety of active-holiday programmes.
Tering’s Role
Tering participated in the project as MEP design team lead, HVAC designer and coordinator of all building services. Its involvement ensured a high level of quality, energy efficiency and functionality across all technical systems within the complex.
Contribution to the Destination
With the opening of Pical Resort 5*, Poreč further strengthens its position as one of the region’s leading tourism and conference destinations. The project will make a significant contribution to the local economy by creating jobs, extending the tourism season and raising standards in luxury tourism.
