City Center one West in Zagreb opened in autumn 2006 as Croatia’s first conventional shopping centre. More than €100 million was invested in its construction, making it the country’s third-largest investment that year. The development introduced Croatian shoppers to numerous international and established brands, including Peek & Cloppenburg, L’Occitane, Hervis, Müller, New Yorker, s.Oliver, Bata and Swarovski, later joined by C&A, Humanic, Douglas, Aldo and many others.
Tering’s role covered comprehensive MEP design and coordination of all building services, from initial concept through commissioning. The scope also included the design of building services for individual retail units within the shopping centre, tailored to tenant requirements.
