Hotel Lone is a unique design hotel in Croatia, embodying a design-led synergy of functionality, harmony and elegance. Seamlessly combining luxury, beauty, style and cultural heritage, this five-star hotel is a year-round destination for leisure and business. It occupies a distinctive seaside setting, surrounded by the century-old protected Zlatni Rt forest park and only a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Rovinj. Together with the Monte Mulini, Park and Eden hotels, Hotel Lone forms part of the exclusive Monte Mulini zone.
Built in 2011, Hotel Lone has 248 spacious rooms and 20 comfortable suites, together with premium restaurants and bars, high-quality entertainment and an extensive wellness and spa centre. Sixteen rooms feature private outdoor pools, while the distinctive Golden Cape Suite includes a large terrace with a hot tub, lounge area and sun deck.
Our role included complete MEP design with our team and coordination of all building services, from the initial concept through commissioning. The HVAC design is based on heat pumps integrated into a hybrid system, which was successfully implemented and is fully operational.
This project demonstrates our progressive multidisciplinary engineering capabilities and the innovative solutions we developed to accommodate the complex architectural design.
