Dubrava University Hospital is one of Croatia’s most modern hospitals and its youngest university hospital, providing teaching for students of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and biochemistry. It is one of the country’s leading hospitals and is of national importance. Located in the Svetošimunska Valley between Maksimir Park and the Dubrava district, the hospital complex covers 80,470 m². Its inpatient facilities were designed for 750 beds, together with supporting medical areas. Each year, the hospital treats almost 18,000 inpatients and provides more than 1.4 million healthcare services to over 280,000 patients.
Our role included HVAC design for some of the hospital’s most complex departments and systems, including:
- operating suite
- MRI diagnostics
- neurosurgery
- ophthalmic operating theatre
- Block E – cardiovascular department
- Block B – microbiology laboratory
- cardiac surgery
- medical gas plant
- central cooling plant...
For all of these projects, we were involved from the initial concept through commissioning, ensuring that every element was delivered to the client’s satisfaction.
