Klimaoprema is a technology and manufacturing company specialising in cleanrooms and HVAC systems. It ranks among Europe's ten largest companies producing advanced HVAC solutions and provides complete cleanroom engineering and system delivery for clients worldwide. Its expertise covers the design, manufacture and construction of cleanrooms for the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals, laboratories and other sectors.
Our long-standing collaboration with Klimaoprema has resulted in the joint delivery of several complex pharmaceutical projects, including:
Bosnalijek, Sarajevo
Bosnalijek d.d., the largest pharmaceutical manufacturer in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was founded in 1951 and exports its products to three continents.
Bosnalijek's current portfolio includes prescription and over-the-counter medicines, dietary supplements, medical devices, special-purpose cosmetics and disinfectants—244 registered products based on 132 molecules. Almost 90% are medicines, the most demanding and tightly regulated pharmaceutical products. In addition, 184 products, or three quarters of the total portfolio, are the result of Bosnalijek's own development, while 60 were developed with respected licensing partners. Eighty-one new products were developed in the past five years alone. Bosnalijek is one of the few companies in the region to retain an in-house development programme, in which it continues to invest while adapting its portfolio to market needs.
Our role included the design of HVAC installations for the Small-Capacity Plant—pilot plant—and the plant for liquid and semi-solid non-sterile dosage forms. Tering designed the HVAC systems, including air-handling units with the associated air-distribution system, air-control components and extract elements with integrated HEPA filters. The project was delivered in cooperation with Klimaoprema d.d., Samobor. Klimaopremom d.d. Samobor.
The building management system (BMS) provides complete control of parameters including temperature, humidity, airflow and interlocking systems. All events related to the control of these parameters are recorded.
